They say when it comes to hot sauces a little goes a long way. Well, this little shop has come a long way from where they started. Originally a Native American and SouthWest shop in Tulsa, Kathy Miller, the owner of FIre ‘N The Hole, decided to sell her products a little closer to home.
After realizing that 80% of her sales were all in hot sauces, Fire ‘N The Hole was born. Now, you can find a wide and wild variety of snacks, jams, barbeque, and hot sauces made by local competitive sauce makers. Many of these products have won awards in the yearly Tulsa BBQ competition and can only be located here in Oklahoma.
Being one of their kind you will not find anything like these products anywhere else. In all of Oklahoma, there is only one other specialty spice shop located in Oklahoma City and is part of a corporate chain. This means you will not receive the same flavors made from local resources.
Fire ‘N The Hole even carries their own line of jams. Most of them are jalapeno based mixed with fruits such as peaches, blueberries, and an additional seven different flavors.
If you are someone who likes to explore the unknown, this shop also has 16 different flavors of house labeled hot sauces. Their most popular product is the Triple X Garlic, which is hot, but not as hot as their extreme Grinders Death Nectar which is made with ghost peppers.
If you are interested in getting a taste of what Fire ‘N The Hole has to offer, you might be able to catch them at the July Gathering on Main. The event is being held once again next month after being postponed since April due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Fire ‘N The Hole no longer offers shipping on their website but you can find them on Main street in the Redbud district. Visit them in person, as they have taken an effort to keep their staff and clientele safe and healthy during this season. They are taking all necessary precautions recommended by the CDC to protect against Covid-19 so you can get your spice kick.
